Forward Makes Long-Distance Move

Forward Levi Amantchi has made a 250-mile move to join Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Redditch United from Northern Premier League Division One West side Workington AFC.

The 20-year-old originally signed for Workington in October 2020 but swiftly moved onto Vanarama National League North side Darlington.

He had joined the Reds following his release from National League side Chesterfield in the summer of 2020.

He made 11 appearances in the 2018/19 for the Spireites and made his debut aged just 17.

He also enjoyed spells at Blyth Spartans and Mickleover, while featuring as a triallist for Middlesbrough under-23s in a 2-2 draw against Newcastle United in the Premier League 2 in September 2020.

He re-joined Workington in September.
