Experienced
midfielder Nic Ciardini (pictured) has returned to the club from league rivals and leaders
Farnborough.
The
33-year-old had re-signed for Farnborough in May 2021 for a fourth time.
He
returned to Boro after taking time out after a serious injury picked up whilst
playing in 2019.
A
local lad, he came through the ranks from the Farnborough Town days and during
the re-form, where he played at youth and reserve level before progressing into
the first team.
After
spending seven seasons with Farnborough`s senior side, he moved to Lewes in
2011 before returning to the Easy As HGV Stadium under a year later.
At
the end of the 2012/13 campaign, he again left Boro for Havant &
Waterlooville where he spent three seasons, making over 130 appearances and
netting around 20 goals.
He
moved back again to Farnborough in 2016 and had spells with Kingstonian and
then league rivals Hartley Wintney, where he called a temporary halt to his
playing time.
Goalkeeper
Sam Freeman has also re-signed for The Row.
The
31-year-old had signed for Isthmian South East side Haywards Heath Town in
October 2020 from The Row, who he had originally joined in February 2020 from
Isthmian League South Central side Chalfont St Peter.
He
had only joined Chalfont in January from Isthmian South East outfit Three Bridges
and he'd only been at Jubilee Fields since the end of November 2019, having
started the season in the South Central with South Park, where he made 10
appearances, keeping three clean sheets, and was the winner of the `golden
gloves award` in October.
Young
defender Harry Taylor has also signed for Hartley Wintney from Isthmian North
outfit Maldon & Tiptree.
The
19-year-old joined the Jammers in the summer following his release from League
One side Charlton Athletic.
He
and has been a regular at Maldon & Tiptree throughout the campaign so far
making a total of 13 appearances.
But
he has been travelling to Essex from Surrey and when he received an opportunity
to join The Row, which is much closer to home, he decided to take it.
