The
31-year-old, who scored over 100 goals in less than two seasons with the
Citizens in his first spell with the club, re-joins after a brief time back at
another former team, Vanarama National League South outfit Hungerford Town.
He
had made the relatively short move from Weymouth to Southern Premier South side
Salisbury in June 2019.
He
was a 2018 close-season signing for Weymouth from local rivals Poole Town,
where he had scored 17 goals the previous season.
His
other former clubs include Gosport Borough, Arlesford Town and Southampton as
well as Winchester.
Bentley
said of his return: "The timing was right. I was really impressed with the
improvements the club has made off the pitch and the strides it's making as a
community club.
"I'm
excited about their plans for the future and can't wait to get back playing for
City”.
