Potton Bring In Bamford & Parrott

Potton United, switched to the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, have signed well-travelled forward Josh Bamford.

Bamford was most recently with new league rivals Crawley Green, having joined in February 2018 after a second spell with SSML Division One side Bedford FC

Apart from Bedford, for whom he bagged 15 goals in 19 appearances in 2016/17, Bamford has also served Biggleswade Town, Barton Rovers, Bedford Town, Eynesbury Rovers and Cranfield United.

Also joining Potton is left-sided defender or midfielder Alex Parrott.

Parrott started out with Slimbridge, Cribbs and Winterbourne United.

He joined Toolstation Western League side Clevedon Town in July 2016.

He moved to Brimscombe & Thrupp in October 2016 and he had been with the Uhlsport Hellenic League outfit since, often returning between university commitments.
