The 24-year-old Wagner has impressed boss Neil MacFarlane during a lengthy trial period at the club that’s seen him feature throughout the whole of pre-season.
While he’s spent most of his career playing his native United States, he adjusted to life in England with a spell with Harriers` league rivals Alfreton Town at the back end of last season, playing alongside fellow new Harriers recruit James Baxendale.
Wagner’s short-term deal with the club takes the tally for the squad to eighteen with the new season just over a week away.
MacFarlane completed his second signing in the space of a matter of hours by snapping up former Chester FC and Dover Athletic striker Kane Richards. A former Derby youngster, most of Richards’ senior football was played at Chester where he spent three seasons playing out wide or up front before spells with Dover and, towards the end of last season, AFC Telford United.
Richards has been with Harriers for much of pre-season and sign a deal until the end of the season as he bids to nail down a place in the competitive striker ranks at Aggborough.
