Tilson Goes Back to Former Club for Another Loanee

Steve Tilson, manager of Pitching In Isthmian League North Division club Heybridge Swifts, has returned once more to one of his former clubs for help.

Tilson (pictured) has taken young defender Tommy Davis on loan from Vanarama National League side Southend United and will join another Shrimpers loanee, Lewis Gard, at Scraley Road for a month.

Teenage centre-back Davis featured for the Shrimpers first team in pre-season but has yet to play in a competitive senior fixture for the National League club.

Davis was on the bench for Saturday's FA Cup clash at Chesterfield but will now be spending at least the next month with Heybridge who are 15th in Isthmian North.
