Tooth and his management team of Craig Milligan and Phil Male met chairman Nick Thurston and handed in their resignations.

They collectively feel that with the resources the club has at its disposal and the poor position in the league, they have taken the team as far as they can and feel that in the best interests of the club a change is necessary.

The chairman expressed his disappointment with their decision and thanked them for their efforts in what has been a difficult season so far.

As an interim measure, Ross Thorpe who has previously been assistant manager with the first team, will take training on Thursday night and will be in charge of the team until a new manager is appointed.

Applications for first-team manager are welcomed and should be made in writing with previous experience by email to suttoncoldfieldtown@gmail.com.
