Smith Returns to Gingerbreads

Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Grantham Town have brought striker Gregg Smith back to The Meres on loan from NPL Division One Midlands side Spalding United.

The 31-year-old joined the Tulips for a second time in May.

He had re-joined Grantham in June 2019 following a second spell with Stamford AFC.

He had returned to the Daniels in February 2019 from Tamworth having previously been with the Daniels in 2015/16 before leaving for Boston United.

He has also played for King`s Lynn, Tamworth, Spalding United and Brackley Town.

He was originally with Grantham in 2014 before he moved to King`s Lynn and he made 89 appearances for the Gingerbreads, bagging 32 goals.

In October 2019 he left Grantham for Midland Leaguers Newark Flowserve before returning to the Northern Premier just before Christmas 2019 with Gainsborough Trinity.
