The 26-year-old has been recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered in our 2-1 win at Charlton Athletic last February and is now in a position to play first-team minutes.

Wallace, who can play in defence or midfield, played 80 minutes in the Brewers Birmingham Senior Cup victory over Halesowen Town in midweek and now joins the Minstermen ahead of their game at home to Kettering Town tomorrow.

Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told https://www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk: "It's a good move for Kieran," said manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. "He's been gagging to play and he couldn't wait.

"Luckily we found a club for him. It's one of those things - he needs to get the rough-and-tough of the game, get confident again, get in shape and up to speed.

"Then we can assess it in January again".
