Sporting Khalsa Add Two to Squad
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands club Sporting Khalsa have signed Luke Yates and taken Cameron Howkins on loan.

Yates (pictured) is a highly rated 22-year-old striker who joins from Southern Premier Division Central side Alvechurch, where he had returned to in May from Khalsa`s league rivals Halesowen Town.

 

He had signed for the Yeltz in May 2019 from Redditch United.

 

He bagged 33 goals for West Midlands League Division One side Wednesfield in 2016/17 which attracted the attention of Alvechurch, who he joined originally in July 2017.

 

He spent a few months of the 2018/19 season with Wolverhampton Casuals on dual registration before moving to Redditch in March 2019.

 

 

Howkins is a 22-year-old defender who signed a permanent deal with Southern Premier Division Central side Tamworth in February 2020.

 

The right-back originally signed on dual registration terms from Midland League Division One side Brocton in December 2019 but signed a contract to stay with the Lambs.

 

He started his career with Vanarama National League North outfit Kidderminster Harriers but joined Brocton early in the 2019/20 season.
