Two New Cuckoos

Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands club Yaxley have added Matty Miles and Harvey Steel to their squad.

Miles (pictured) is a 24-year-old defender who crosses the city from Southern League Premier Division Central side Peterborough Sports

He had signed for the Turbines in November 2019 from league rivals Biggleswade Town, for whom he had joined in August 2019 from St Neots Town where he was captain.

As a youngster he was at Leicester City and has also been with United Counties Leaguers Eynesbury Rovers.

Steel is also a defender who re-joins the Cuckoos from Southern Division One Central outfit St Neots Town.

He signed for St Neots in July 2021 from Yaxley.

A former Cambridge United youngster, he also had a loan spell in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division with Mildenhall Town in 2019/20.
