The
pair have joined Concord on a month`s loan.
Midfielder
Simper (pictured) is a product of the U’s academy, having joined at the age of 6.
He
made his senior debut against Fulham under-21s in the EFL Trophy in September
2020, but is yet to play a league game for the U`s.
He
was sent out on loan to Pitching In Southern League Division One Central side
St Neots Town at the start of last season and then went to Concord for the
first time, but the league’s early curtailment due to the Covid-19 pandemic
meant that he was only able to make 7 appearances for the club, scoring twice.
However,
he did start for the Beachboys in their 1-0 Buildbase FA Trophy Final defeat
against Harrogate Town at Wembley.
Centre-half
Jobe also progressed through the youth ranks with the U's and made his debut
for the first team in an impressive 4-1 win against Oxford United in the Papa
John's Trophy Group stages, playing the full 90 minutes.
He
has also been out on loan with St Neots, moving to the Premier Plus Stadium in
September and making 10 appearances. |
