The
32-year-old had been with Boro since June 2020.
He
spent August 2017 at Vanarama National League North side Farsley Celtic
on-loan, scoring 2 goals in that spell.
The
frontman than returned to parent club Darlington at the beginning of September
2017. However, when James Walshaw left for Scarborough in mid-November 2017,
the Celts were quick to sign the renowned goalscorer on a permanent basis.
He
began his career at Leeds United academy and includes amongst his previous
clubs Harrogate Railway Athletic.
Also
joining Ammies is highly-rated young goalkeeper Jordan Moorhouse from North
West Counties League Division One North side Steeton AFC.
He
joined Steeton at the beginning of last season from Toolstation Northern
Counties East League outfit Eccleshill United.
The
young 'keeper was one of the club's stand-out players in his debut season, with
his impressive handling and kicking establishing himself as the first-choice
goalkeeper.
Despite
not being the tallest of goalkeepers, he more than makes up for it with his
agility.
