Fantastic Start for New Cables Striker!

Sam O`Halleron had a dream debut for Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Prescot Cables on Saturday.

The striker (pictured), signed from league rivals Colne in the week, bagged four goals in the opening 45 minutes in a 7-0 win over Market Drayton Town.

The 20-year-old had been at Colne since July 2020.

He signed for SkyBet League One side Fleetwood Town in December 2016 and subsequently signed professional forms in May 2019.

He is a hardworking, energetic striker and instinctive finisher who had a short spell on loan with then-North West Counties League side Warrington Rylands in 2019/20.

Cables have also signed exciting young midfielder Charlie Glennon.

Glennon has recently been part of League Two Tranmere Rovers` youth set up.

Earlier, Matt Liptrott joined Cables on loan from SkyBet Championship side Blackpool.

Liptrott is a combative midfielder and comes to the club with a growing reputation in the game.
