Prolific Marksman Joins Rovers

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Willand Rovers have added two players to their squad ahead of the festive fixtures.

Prolific striker Rikki Shepherd joins Rovers from Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Millbrook AFC, where he has been in prolific form.

The 25-year-old has already notched 25 goals this season, including a hat-trick against Willand in the Emirates FA Cup back in August.

Returning to the club is attacking midfielder or forward Joe Wylie.

The 19-year-old signed for Southern Division One Central side Thame United during last season from Willand.

He had originally joined Rovers in February 2020 from Western League neighbours Wellington where he made his debut aged 16.

He is an exciting prospect who like to play in the ‘false 9’ position.
