Two New Keepers for Blues
Ben Herd, player-manager of Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Hertford Town, has added two new goalkeepers to his squad bat Hertingfordbury Park.

Lee Axworthy (pictured) joins the Blues from Southern Premier Division South side Kings Langley, for whom he played 3 times after signing from Spartan South Midland League Premier Division outfit Holmer Green in October.

 

Th 20-year-old came through Premier League newcomers Brentford`s scholarship programme and represented the club`s under-19 side and was involved in a number of under-23 squads and trained with the first team on a number of occasions.

 

After being released by the Bees, he had spells with Hendon, London Colney and Holmer Green and had a stint at Metropolitan Police in February 2020.

 

Pat Sinfield, who turns 21 on New Year`s Eve, returns to Hertford having originally signed for the Blues in August 2019 on dual registration with United Counties League Premier Division South side Potton United.

 

He has also been on the books at Tring Athletic, Stotfold, St Albans City and Biggleswade Town.
