The
28-year-old joined Soham in September.
He
had returned to Southern League Premier Division Central side St Ives Town in
the summer of 2018 having left in the latter stages of the previous season to
bolster Cambridge City’s promotion push.
He
had four seasons with the Ives having previously been at Huntingdon Town
following his scholarship with Peterborough United.
The
local boy will always be remembered for scoring the winning goal in the 2015/16
play-off final against AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
It`s
Tulips` manager Brett Whaley's first signing and he told his club`s website: "I'm
delighted to get Ben in so quickly and in time for Saturday, he's exactly the
type of player we are looking for and will complement the squad well. He's
played at this level and the level above, scored goals and plays in a position
we need to strengthen, i think he'll prove to be a great signing for the
club". |
