Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East club Frickley Athletic have added three players to their squad.

Joining the Blues are Arun Jones, James Matthews and Aidan Smith.

 

Jones joins on dual registration with Vanarama National League North side Alfreton Town.

 

The central midfielder has also spent time on dual registration with Frickley`s league rivals Lincoln United as well as Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Barton Town.

 

Matthews joins the Blues on loan from NPL Division One Midlands side Carlton Town.

 

Matthews signed for Carlton in May.

 

He played for Northern Counties East League side AFC Mansfield before receiving an offer to play for NPL Premier Division outfit Gainsborough Trinity in 2020/21 and also played for Ollerton Town.

 

Smith (pictured) arrives on dual registration from NCEL Premier Division outfit Nostell Miners Welfare.

 

The goalkeeper had only joined Nostell just before Christmas from Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.

 

The 19-year-old is highly rated and has plenty of experience, despite his age.

 

Smith started the 2021/22 season with FC Humber United and was also with Selby Town before joining Worsbrough Bridge.
