O`Neill Steps Back Into EFL
Right-back Luke O`Neill has returned to full-time football by signing for SkyBet League Two side Stevenage from Vanarama National League North club Kettering Town.

O’Neill had previously played for the Poppies on loan during the 2010/11 season when he was at Leicester City and he made 19 appearances, scoring 2 goals.

 

He went on to play for Mansfield Town, Burnley, Southend United, Gillingham, and had further loan spells with York City, Scunthorpe United and Leyton Orient.

 

He signed for AFC Wimbledon in July 2019 and went on to make 58 appearances.

 

Capped nine times by England at under-19 level, he played 6 times for the Poppies after joining in November.
