...League (Wessex) Premier club Hamworthy United after the departure of Luke Middlewick.
Middlewick was offered a role at SkyBet League Two outfit Yeovil Town, a massive opportunity and one he couldn`t really refuse.
Speaking with Lay, the ex-Verwood Town and Swanage & Herston manager told the Hammers website: "We'll obviously miss Luke since he took his fantastic opportunity to work at Yeovil but nothing changes, we are really focused on working hard with Callum to give the boys a platform to enjoy their football and be as competitive as they can be.
"It's been a privilege to work with this backroom team and help the team get ready for the season ahead.
"My role has always been to work with the first-team but like any good club, it is important to recognise, engage and help develop the younger players - who are very, very good by the way - and I will continue to do that any way I can. I think they can have a great season.
"Pre-season is going well, the club and everyone who works there is fantastic, and I've loved being involved. The players have all worked so hard and it is a pleasure watching them train and play. I can't wait for the season to start". |
