Former
West Ham United defender Joshua Okotcha (pictured) joins the Greens having been without a
club since being released by the Hammers in the summer.
Having
started playing football as an 11-year-old – comparatively late to most of his team-mates
– Okotcha joined the famed West Ham academy just a year later as a central
defensive midfielder, before moving to defence two years later.
As
an under-15, Okotcha was awarded a full-time scholarship and moved to East
London
He
signed professional forms at the London Stadium in June 2020 and overall spent eight
years at the Premier League outfit.
Joining
Hendon on `work experience` from Vanarama National League side Southend United
is 18-year-old Robert Unwin.
Unwin
is a winger who is part of the Shrimpers' under-23 squad where he is highly
rated.
