`Mr Pilkington` Back in Harness
North West Counties League First Division North club Pilkington FC have acted quickly following the departure of Dave Tickle and appointed Steve Palfrey as manager.

Palfrey is well known to the club and its fans, and he was a heralded figure for the club in its Cheshire League days.

 

Pilkington chairman Jim Woodyer said: "I am delighted to announce that Ste Palfrey (known locally as `Mr Pilkington FC`) has accepted the offer and will return as manager at Pilkington FC. Ste has led the club to three promotions previously, so I am confident he will lead us again to the play offs”.
