Defender
James Golding joins the Puritans on `work experience` from League One
neighbours Oxford United.
The
17-year-old central defender joined Oxford as a scholar in the summer of 2020
after spending eight years in the academy system at AFC Wimbledon.
He
made his senior debut for the U`s in October when coming on as a substitute in
their EFL Trophy home game against Tottenham Hotspur under-21s.
Golding
followed the earlier arrival of 19-year-old midfielder Jed Abbey on loan from
Vanarama National League North side AFC Telford United until the end of the
season.
Abbey (pictured)signed for the Bucks in May following his departure from Premier League
Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He
hails from Den Haag Netherlands and has been an academy player at Wolves for
over 10 years following his signing from Randlay Colts Stirchley at a young
age.
He
impressed in the Under-18 Premier League level, registering 4 goals and 5
assists which warranted interest from Glasgow Rangers. |
