The 24-year-old joins until the end of the season and could make his Minstermen debut in Saturday's Buildbase FA Trophy Fourth Tound game at home to Slough Town.

Kouogun came through the ranks at Irish side University College Dublin, featuring in their Europa League qualifying campaign in 2015/16, and went on to play for Warrenpoint Town and Waterford before heading over the Irish sea to play for SkyBet League Two side Harrogate Town and National League outfit Wealdstone.

He left the Stones in February 2021 to return to Ireland with Shelbourne.
