The 25-year-old joined Wrexham in June 2019 from National League Promotion Final winners Salford City.

He came through the youth system at Manchester United.

Standing at 6`2”, the talented player who can also play up front or anywhere in midfield came up through the United ranks with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay.

He impressed at youth level and regularly played for the Red Devils’ reserve side.

He eventually sought first-team football moving to Scunthorpe United on a season-long loan deal in 2017.

In January 2018 his parent club recalled him before he was eventually released in June of that year.

After a spell without a club, he joined Salford in January 2019 and scored twice in his 15 appearances and was also involved in the National League play-offs playing in the semi-final victory against Eastleigh and Wembley showpiece win over AFC Fylde to earn promotion.

Harriers boss Russ Penn told https://harriers.co.uk: “I’ve followed Devonte for the last couple of years.

“It hasn’t really worked out for him at various clubs, but he’s a player with a big smile on his face who wants to get back to playing football.

“He’ll have that opportunity here. He’s a big name, but he’s got to find himself as well and believe what he can be because there’s no doubt that, if he puts the performances in, he won’t be at this level for very long.

“I’m absolutely delighted, and he’ll complement our squad massively”.
