Vanarama National League North club Guiseley AFC have signed midfielder Dom Tear from National League side FC Halifax Town.

The 22-year-old joined the Shaymen in September 2020 following his release from local SkyBet Championship neighbours Huddersfield Town.

 

The Northern Irishman was highly thought of at the Terriers, winning the academy player of the season in 2018.

 

He also played for their under-23 side and on loan with Irish side Larne from January 2019 until May 2019 and spent the majority of the 2019/20 season on loan at National League North outfit Gateshead.

 

In 2020/21 he joined Blyth Spartans and Buxton on loan and arrives at Nethermoor after his contract with the Shaymen came to an end.
