A central midfielder 'without fear of a tackle', the 19-year-old joined the Eagles in the summer of 2020 after impressing on trial and has gone on to become a regular in the under-23 squad.

Previously he was part of Bristol City's academy for almost seven years and has represented England at youth level.

Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm (pictured) told https://www.tonbridgeangels.co.uk: “I'm delighted to have James's signature and am looking forward to having more midfield options as we commence what is going to be a very intensive second half of the season.

“I'm sure that James's footballing career will be enhanced by experiencing the challenges of National South football and I welcome him to our club”.
