Experienced Byrom Goes Back `Home`
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Clitheroe have brought back vastly experienced midfielder Joel Byrom.

The 35-year-old is back at Shawbridge a decade-and-a-half on from captaining the side early in a career.

 

He returns to Clitheroe from Vanarama National League North side Farsley Celtic.

 

He had been with Celtic since September 2020 after leaving SkyBet League Two side Stevenage.

 

He spent the previous decade in the Football League including two stints at Stevenage, who he re-joined in 2018.

 

He has won promotion three times since 2010, including most recently with Northampton Town in the 2015/16 season.

 

He started out at Blackburn Rovers and then embarked on spells with Accrington Stanley, Clitheroe, Southport, Northwich Victoria, Stevenage for the first time in 2009, Preston North End, Northampton, Mansfield Town and then Stevenage once more.
