Flanagan`s move back to the Trico Stadium from Northern Premier League Division
One Midlands side Halesowen Town had already been reported on this website, and
manager Matt Clarke also brought in striker Ryan Boothe, who started the game,
and youngster Theo Rowe, who was on the bench.
Born
in Birmingham, Boothe (pictured) has been playing football since the age of five and has
played for several non-League sides including Rushall Olympic and Sutton
Coldfield Town, where he came through the youth ranks.
He
has also been on the books at Solihull Moors, Barwell, Bilston Town and Racing
Club Warwick.
He
started the 2020/21 season with Lye Town of the Midland League Premier Division,
before switching to United Counties League Premier Division North outfit Anstey
Nomads late in September 2020.
He
returned to the Midland Premier with Walsall Wood from league rivals Highgate
United in November.
Rowe
is an 18-year-old wide player who signed for Redditch`s league rivals Banbury
United in September.
He
was with League One side Cheltenham Town as a youngster and played for
Championship outfit Stoke City`s under-23 side last season.
Meanwhile,
26-year-old defender Tom Rankin has gone out on a month`s loan to Highgate for
match fitness and sharpness following his recent injuries.
