The youngster heads to New Lodge looking to get some more competitive matches under his belt.

Having been on loan last season with Pitching In Isthmian League North side Maldon & Tiptree, Stagg jumped up a league for his first loan this time round, with a spell he's just finished at Isthmian Premier Division outfit East Thurrock United.

Colchester`s director of football Tony Humes told https://www.cu-fc.com: "Tom has done well in his previous loan spells and can now test himself at a new level. Hopefully, he will excel again - benefitting him, us and Billericay in the next few weeks".
