The
diminutive winger was rewarded for some impressive performances for the Shrimpers`
under-23 team, and out on loan at Southern Division One Central outfit Harlow
Town, with a first-team debut in the EFL Trophy tie against Brighton & Hove
Albion under-21s in October 2019.
Towards
the end of the 2019/20 season, he became a regular in the matchday squad and he
scored his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers in March.
A
professional contract soon followed in the summer of 2020 and plenty more game
time too.
Egbri
joined Southend in 2014/15 as an under-14.
He
made his youth team debut in April 2017 and went onto feature in over 50 games
for the under-18s, scoring in 6 successive matches during the second season of
his scholarship. |
