Storey Becomes a Gingerbread

Left-back Ellis Storey has re-joined Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Grantham Town.

The 28-year-old returns to The Meres from Southern Premier Division Central side Coalville Town, who he had returned to in June 2019.

He re-joined the Ravens having been on the books at Grantham`s league rivals Basford United, although he spent the latter half of the 2018/19 out of action due to a serious knee injury.

He had joined Basford from Gainsborough Trinity in the summer of 2018.

An athletic player, Storey came through the academy at Ilkeston prior to joining Coalville.

He signed for Grantham for the first time in the 2015 close season 2015 and signed for then-Vanarama National League North outfit Gainsborough in May 2017.
