Hooper
is an attacking midfield who joins Colls from league rivals Witton Albion.
Hooper,
who turns 25 on Thursday, had signed for Witton in August 2020 from Vanarama National
League North side Altrincham after a loan spell at the end of the 2019/20
season.
He
had signed for Alty in February 2019 having been on loan with Chorley from
Salford City, who he joined at the end of November 2018 and was on dual
registration with West Didsbury & Chorlton when signing for Alty.
He
enjoyed a productive spell in the NPL with Radcliffe FC for the majority of the
2017/18 season after beginning it with FC United of Manchester.
He
was originally with Rochdale, Stockport County and Carlisle United.
Striker
Clarke (pictured), 19, has already had a temporary spell at the Skuna Stadium at the end
of 2021 from National League North side Chester FC, before making his debut for
his parent club in the 1-1 draw with AFC Telford United on 2nd January.
He
signed for Chester in June 2021 after departing National League side Stockport
County after a successful spell in their youth set-up, ending his time by
winning the academy second-year players` player of the year award.
He
has also spent time on loan with NPL Division One West outfit Leek Town earlier
this season. |
