Nyoni Becomes A Tiger
Craig Denton, manager of Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division club Worksop Town, has signed midfielder Cecil Nyoni.

The 25-year old Zimbabwean re-joins the Tigers for a second spell having ended last season with NCEL Division One side Swallownest.

 

He signed for Swallownest from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League East neighbours Sheffield FC where he had been since November 2017.

 

Nyoni joined Club from Shaw Lane AFC, and was previously at Kettering Town, Harrogate Town, Halesowen Town, Alfreton Town, Goole AFC, Stocksbridge Park Steels and Matlock Town.

 

Nyoni made a couple of first-team appearances for Wednesday, where he came through the club`s ranks, before being released at the end of the 2011/12 season.

 

He signed for Nottingham Forest but spent the entire 2012/13 campaign on loan to Worksop before leaving the City Ground in May 2013 when he embarked on his non-League travels.

 

Nyoni had been training with Worksop and featured in friendlies and has now put pen-to-paper ahead of the 2018/19 season.
