The 28-year-old Irishman has made 23 appearances for the Iron this season, scoring 2 goals, and also had a loan spell with AFC Sudbury`s league rivals Maldon & Tiptree around Christmas time.

Davidson joined Braintree in November 2020.

He had re-signed for Isthmian Premier side Bishop`s Stortford in the summer of 2020 after being with National League North outfit Kidderminster Harriers since July 2019 after impressing on trial.

Dublin-born, he started with Bohemians and then turned out for Carrick Rangers and Ards before moving to England in 2014, signing for AFC Sudbury.

In February 2015 he moved onto Grays Athletic, who he re-joined in December 2015 following a stint with Heybridge Swifts, St Neots Town and Ware.

In the summer of 2016, he joined Waltham Forest and then stepped up a couple of levels with Bishop`s Stortford in January 2017.

After a spell with Witham Town, he signed for Concord Rangers in January 2019.
