Vastly experienced midfielder Dean Parrett joins the Waders after his recent release from Vanarama National League side Barnet.

The 30-year-old had joined the Bees in December 2020 after spending a month with league rivals Wealdstone.

He was formerly with Stevenage, and he amassed over 200 League appearances.

He began his career at Tottenham Hotspur and made his debut aged just 17 in a UEFA Cup match against Shakhtar Donetsk.

He made 4 appearances at Spurs and also represented England at under-16, 17, 18, 19 and under-20 level and spent time out on loan at Aldershot Town, Plymouth Argyle, Charlton Athletic, Yeovil Town and Swindon Town.

He originally joined Stevenage in 2013 and spent three years with Boro, scoring 9 times in 78 appearances.

From there he joined AFC Wimbledon and Gillingham in League One before returning to Stevenage in the summer of 2019.

Joining from Isthmian League Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley is 20-year-old forward Liam Smyth.

Smyth made 27 appearances and scored 4 goals after signing for Wingate in July 2021 from Stevenage.

He came through the Stevenage academy under O`Keefe and made his first team debut aged only 17.

He spent the incomplete seasons on 2019/20 and 2020/21 on loan with National League South side Braintree Town, and has featured regularly for Northern Ireland under-19's.

In addition, joining the Waders on `work experience` from Stevenage is young defender Morgan Mahoney.

The 18-year-old academy Boro graduate had a spell on `work experience` with Isthmian League North Division side Hullbridge Sports earlier this season.

All three debuted in Biggleswade`s crucial 1-0 win at Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday, with Liam Smyth scoring the all-important goal.
