Bertram (pictured) returns to the Nailers for a third time after a short spell with NPL
Premier Division side Matlock Town
A
30-year-old tough-tackling player who is equally at home when deployed on
defensive duties, was an almost ever-present in the Carlton Town team in
2018/19 and prior to joining Carlton, he featured for Basford United.
He
originally joined Belper in the summer of 2019 and then moved onto league
rivals Ilkeston Town in May 2020 before returning to the Nailers in May 2021.
Arriving
from another NPL Premier Division side in Mickleover is versatile youngster Jacob
Edge-Lucas.
The
18-year-old was part of the Mickleover academy team that won last season`s
Regional and National titles.
He
joined Derby County at the age of 7, having been spotted playing local football
in Ashbourne.
Following
his release from the Rams academy, he spent two years at Chesterfield, where he
was offered a scholarship, but opted to sign for Mickleover.
A
regular in the successful reserve side, he made his first team debut in the
away game at Buxton.
His
regular position is right wing back, but also likes central midfield.
Joining
on loan from Vanarama National League North side York City is Reon Potts.
The
21-year-old target man joined the Minstermen after a successful trial in the
summer of 2020.
He
can also play on the wing and boasts Sheffield United and Scunthorpe United as
his previous clubs. |
