The
Tevie Boys finished bottom of Toolstation Northern Counties East League
Division One and they are now waiting on the FA to determine which league they
will be playing in next season.
The
news comes following a review of the current concluding season between chairman
Nick James and their football general manager and first-team boss Martin Bower.
A
statement released by the Tomlin Personnel Park side said: "It was
concluded that Martin and his assistant Kev Heathcote offered their
resignations at the conclusion of the current season, which is on Wednesday
27th April, 2022, when the reserves conclude their season at Rowsley 86.
"The
club will be making changes to the current management structure with newly
appointed first-team manager Callum Harris working with the Board of Directors
to stop the fall and move forward again, with further announcements to be made
in due course."
The
club's chairman added: “We would officially like to place on record our
gratitude for the time and effort put in by all and for those stepping down
from their positions.
"We
appreciate their efforts in what has been a difficult season for the senior
men’s section of the club."
James
added: “We look forward to relaying the foundations to help the club achieve
its aims and be able to sustain National League System Football again at the
Tomlin Personnel Park for more than the last sixteen years we have just
maintained being at this level of football for”. |
