Atkins Is New Monarchs Boss
Southern Counties East League First Division club Staplehurst Monarchs have announced a new management team for the 2022/23 season.

Steve Sands led Monarchs through their debut campaign in the SCEL, finishing 17th with 9 wins from their 38 games played.

 

The club have revealed that former K Sports manager Paul Atkins will lead them next year.

 

A club statement reads: “We welcome Paul Atkins and Lee Wells and their coaching team as the senior team’s new management team. These guys bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in the SCEL and also a great reputation and links to players across the divisions. We know they will continue to develop and push the club forward. Welcome Paul and Lee, we look forward to the successes in the coming season and beyond.

 

“The club thanks Steve Sands, Jeffro Warren and Adam Kerry for their hard work and success in reaching and maintaining the club’s SCEFL status this season.  We wish them every success in their future footballing roles”.
