Chairman Andy Burchette told https://www.miltonunited.co.uk: “Being a manager at this Level is a tough ask and Sam has had three seasons at the helm. To be fair he couldn’t have picked a more difficult and challenging time to be the manager as his first two seasons were both disrupted due to the Covid restrictions and measures, adding another dimension to managing football. However, he was resolute, and he managed to put together a good competitive squad. Once playing his team played exciting attractive attacking football and they performed well in both the league and cups, the highlight being a club record-equalling FA Vase run.

“Sam now wishes to resume his playing career and all at Milton wish him all the best.”

The club are now inviting applicants for the first team manager’s post and anyone interested is asked to contact chairman Andy Burchette on 07845961276 or email Milton.united.fc@hotmail.co.uk.
