The
club have placed on record the extensive hard work that Dash and his management
team have done throughout the 2021/22 season, joining in an extremely difficult
period at the start of the season.
Dash
joined in August having previously managed Isthmian League South Central side
Northwood from October 2018 to October 2019 was more recently assistant manager
at Wood`s league rivals Chalfont St Peter.
Dash
started his playing career at Wycombe Wanderers, before having spells at Hayes
& Yeading United, Hillingdon Borough and Beaconsfield Town.
He
retired playing through injury – and after three knee operations - and went
into coaching, starting as Leverstock Green under-18 manager, before managing
the senior side in the Spartan South Midlands League and going on to achieve
silverware in the St Mary's Cup.
Of
the 42 games in charge, Dash leaves the Walnut Boys with 9 wins, 5 draws and 28
defeats.
The
home win over Hertford Town as well as the away wins over Harlow Town and St
Neots Town will live long in the memory for Rovers` fans, as well as last
week’s victory over Eccleshill.
The
club will be looking to appoint a successor as soon as possible as preparations
begin for the 2022/23 season. |
