....Antony Hickey from newly-promoted Evo-Stik Northern Premier League West side Runcorn Linnets.
Hickey's first spell with the club came to an end in 2010, when he headed for Warrington Town during the close season.
After two years with the Yellows the forward headed to Runcorn Linnets before then joining Skelmersdale United, where he helped Skem to become Northern Premier North champions.
Hickey then returned to the Linnets in October of 2016 and played a key role in their NWCL Premier Division league title win last season.
Bootle have also announced the signing of the experienced Karl Noon.
The forward joins the club from league rivals City of Liverpool, having also had spells with Vauxhall Motors, Marine AFC and Witton Albion.
Noon made his Bucks debut against Lower Breck - where he scored the winning goal in a 3-2 victory - before two days later, he netted again for the Bucks, this time in a 4-0 win over Cammel Lairds.
