Royals Appoint Stringer
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands club Sutton Coldfield Town have appointed Dave Stringer as their new manager.

Stringer was previously with Midland League Premier Division side Heather St John.

 

His former clubs included Coalville Town, Shepshed Dynamo, Rugby Town and Chasetown.

 

A club statement said: “The club pleased to announce that after receiving a large number of applications for the manager's job and conducting several interviews, we have appointed Dave Stringer to the job.

 

“He has enthusiastically accepted the position and will be starting immediately to engage with the 1st team squad and to start to build for next season.

 

“He will bring experience, attractive attacking football and will engage well with our strong youth set up.”

 

Stringer succeeds Ross Thorpe, who stood down at the end of the season.
