The
Muglet Lane outfit revealed the news a week after the departure of John
Stancliffe from the dug-out with Dave Watts also stepping down from the
chairman's role.
A
statement released on https://www.maltbymainfc.co.uk reads: "The committee
have deliberated over various options this past week and we can now announce
that Russ Eagle will be our new first team manager.
"We
will advertise any other management team members as we find out.
"We
wish them all the very best of luck at Muglet Lane. Welcome aboard."
This
was followed by a further statement announcing Race's return to the role that
he stood down from last September, saying: "The committee have looked at
the names we had with regards to applicants for the chairman role.
"We'd
like to announce that our former chairman Wilf Race will return and take up the
role from now.
"As
mentioned last week to keep the club running as best possible, the outgoing
chairman will stay on for now in all the other roles he does at the club and to
help the new manager in player registrations from July 1st.
"He
thanks everyone for their support during the season and wishes Wilf all the
best now he has returned to the club.
"Great
news for both parties and all involved". |
