Davis returns after not only playing for Bourne, but also having had two spells in the managerial hot seat, co-managing the team from September 2013 to July 2014 and also solo from October 2014 until January 2018.

The club believe that Davis processes the knowledge, skills and connections to not only head first team matters and bring improvements to the club, but also to have the time and ability to set up close working relationships with the academy and youth in order to ensure the growth and success of the club in the coming years.
