Will Miles, a ball-playing centre-half, was a member of the successful Burgess Hill Town academy before breaking into the senior side aged 18 and winning an Isthmian South Division championship medal in his first season.

Later made first-team captain, he missed most of the 2017/18 campaign after suffering injury in August but was signed by Worthing in May 2018 and played in half of the club’s matches before making the switch to Isthmian Premier rivals Horsham in February 2019.

Following him from the Hornets is prolific marksman Chris Smith.

Smith (pictured) scored some 200 goals in over 300 appearances for South Park, with whom he began his career as a 16-year-old in 2007.

Having topped Park’s goalscoring charts for five successive seasons, he moved to Isthmian Premier side Burgess Hill Town in 2015, returning to South Park in 2017/18 before making the switch to Horsham the following summer, helping them to promotion to the Isthmian Premier in 2018/19.

Miles and Smith join Charlie Harris and Rob O’Toole in making the switch from Horsham.

Also joining the Hawks is forward Joel Daly.

Twin brother of Stevenage`s James Daly, he becomes re-united with Whitehawk boss Shaun Saunders after spending four years playing in the United States with Tiffin Dragons.

A former member of Lewes` under-18s side, he then spent two seasons with Haywards Heath Town and returns to The Enclosed Ground to play under Saunders once more.
