Glebe
finished third last season and is now under new leadership and hoping to gain
promotion to Step 4 this time around.
New
boss Rooney has wasted no time bringing in new faces, which includes a new coach
in the shape of former Erith & Belvedere manager Del Oldfield.
Calum
McGeehan arrives following a season that started at Hollands & Blair and
ended with Erith & Belvedere.
The
centre-back scored 8 times during the last campaign and will provide experience
and strength in a key position for Glebe.
Jack
Mahoney arrives at Foxbury after spending a few successful seasons at
Corinthian.
The
midfielder played 39 games for the Hoops last term and can count Chatham Town
and Hythe Town as former sides.
Familiar
with Foxbury from his time spent at Stansfeld, Harry Gamble has also made the
move to Glebe.
An
impressive stint at Welling Town earned him the First Division title and a move
to Erith Town, where he helped them claim a top six finish last term.
Ross
Craig is another added to the Glebe squad from Erith & Belvedere as is Greg Benbow.
Also
joining is prolific young Crowborough Athletic striker Elliott Duncan.
Young
attacking midfielder James Dyer makes the short trip from Erith &
Belvedere, as does Freddie Cray, who is another former Stansfeld man.
Ollie
Lankshear comes in after spending last season at K Sports, while experienced
centre-back Jack Bath joins from Corinthian
Forward
Teddy Green comes from Erith & Belvedere, having been formerly with Phoenix
Sports, while Stefan Cox is a well-travelled 30-year-old winger who started out
at Tooting & Mitcham United before embarking on his travels.
He
moved north to Fleetwood Town and Hyde United and returned south with
Metropolitan Police, Merstham, Walton Casuals, Ashford United, Whyteleafe and
Beckenham Town.
Midfielder
Harry Maher, 19, is another arrival from Erith & Belvedere.
He
is a former Gillingham academy graduate who has also played for Ramsgate and
Chatham Town.
Midfielder
Jon Pilbeam (pictured) is a vastly experienced forward who numbers Folkestone Invicta,
Hythe Town, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge Angels and Chatham Town amongst his
former clubs, having come through the academies at Chelsea and Charlton
Athletic.
And
defender George Snelling joins from Corinthian was previously with K Sports,
Rusthall and Fleet Leisure. |
