Ebac Northern League First Division club Bishop Auckland have snapped up two new players ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Experienced defender James Risbrough joins the Bishops from league rivals Guisborough Town, where he was in his second spell.

 

The 29-year-old re-joined Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East side Marske United in September 2021 from Northern League side Billingham Town before moving back to Guisborough midway through the season.

 

He made over 200 appearances for Stockton Town in two spells and as well as Guisborough, also served Spennymoor Town and Swedish side Ytterhogdal.

 

Midfielder Craig Gott (pictured) joins Bishops from Marske, where he was in his second spell.

 

He returned to the Seasiders in 2017 from Spennymoor Town.

 

He played over 300 games for the Seasiders, scoring 99 goals and is rated as one of the best midfielders in North-East non-League football and has also played for Darlington.
