The
20-year-old signed for the Poppies last summer and was an impressive performer
throughout the campaign as he made 45 appearances as they just missed out on a
play-off place.
Barrett
was rewarded for his displays when he picked up the Vice Presidents’ player of
the year award.
He
began his career at Leicester City, where he spent two years with their academy
before leaving for a new opportunity with Burnley under-23s.
