The
29-year-old made almost 100 appearances for the Dabbers since joining in July
2019.
He
signed for the Dabbers after spending the 2018/19 season with Vanarama National
League North sides Southport, Altrincham and Guiseley AFC - the latter two of
which were loan spells.
The
centre-half, who is the son of former Wigan Athletic, Everton and Manchester
City midfielder Kevin Langley, also made over 100 appearances for AFC Fylde and
captained them to a terrific few seasons in the National League system.
He
also won the player of the year accolade on the Fylde coast during his spell at
Mill Farm.
He
spent his youth career with Wigan Athletic, spending four seasons as a professional
at the DW Stadium prior to moving to Fylde.
Also
joining Rylands is midfielder James Barrigan.
Barrigan (pictured),
who had a short spell at Warrington Town earlier in his career, impressed last
season when playing against Rylands for Marine AFC.
He
started his career with Wigan Athletic and had a 5-game loan spell with
Warrington in 2017.
He
played once in the Latics` senior side in an EFL Trophy tie against Oldham
Athletic.
In
the summer of 2018, he was released by Wigan and joined Vanarama National
League North side Chorley.
In
2019, he joined Marine and he was appointed vice-captain in December 2021 and made
63 appearances, scoring 8 goals for the Mariners. |
